Recognizing the impact of social media, the Miami International Auto Show is bringing exciting new opportunities for attendees to connect and share their favorite experiences from this year's show. One of the most exciting new additions this year is the development of a Social Media Lounge where visitors can charge their smart phones while engaging in conversations on Twitter and Instagram, which will be displayed on large screens in the lounge and throughout the showroom floor.

The Social Media Lounge illustrates our special attention to technology, video content and social media this year, said Cliff Ray, Auto Show Coordinator. We've modernized the look of the show, provided digital floor plans, installed Twitter screens all over and otherwise enabled the use of smart devices among visitors who get scattered. It's communication on another level.

For even more interactivity, visitors are encouraged to use the hashtag #ILIKETHATCAR to name their favorite cars throughout the duration of the show. Entries will be tallied and displayed daily, and manufacturers with top mentions will receive the "People's Choice" award for the day, encouraging friendly competition among the brands featured at the show. Join the conversation and share your favorite highlights from this year's show!
